The great Polish artist Roman Cieslewicz created this original masterpiece poster in 1982 for the Pompidou Center museum in Paris, France. It translates to “The Most Beautidul Day”. Roman Cieslewicz was one of the most influential poster artists of the 20th century. Employed at WAG, a Polish state graphics agency, after exposure to the West he was hired by Elle as an art director, and then gained employment at an ad agency, MAFIA, 1969-72. In his work he has used a number of techniques, notably collage and typography, to achieve startling results. Cieslewicz was a resident of France from 1963 until his death in 1996.
