Italian Movie Posters | The Gun | Claudia Cardinale

This 1978 film “The Gun” by Pasquale Squitieri features a commanding central performance from Stefano Satta Flores. He plays a middle-aged engineer who, getting increasingly worried about the rising crime rate in his surroundings, follows the advice and example of his drinking buddies to arm himself with a gun. Things so south from there. Squitieri does introduce some humor among the tragic situations depicted. And the groovy music score is one definite element that stands out from the mix.
